January was the perfect start to 2012. I mean, it's the first month of the year, so it's the only way to start, right? But for this New York born and bred actor, it was a terrific one. I went up for two feature films, "Channeling" and "A Brief Reality." I also got involved with a cool, independent acting group and shot new headshots.
"Pandora 2011: Accounts of the Cursed Shopping Center" was released last year, and I've been receiving some great reader feedback on the novel. Here's one that came in on Monday:
"I especially liked the continuum of your main characters. It gave a completeness to the story without infringing on the stories. If you've read any of Stephen King's early writings I see the same promise in yours. I'm not alone in my findings. I hope you don't mind but I let my next door neighbor read it and he came up with some of the same comparisons." - F.W. – California
I'm hard at work on the follow up to Pandora, and putting the final touches on my sci-fi mystery, "The Martian Shuffle."
On a personal note, I read some great books ("Under the Dome", by Stephen King, and "Reversible Errors", by Scott Turow) and caught some super films ("The Help", "Moneyball", "The Descendants", "The Artist", "Bridesmaids", "True Grit (2010)" and "No Strings Attached”.)
