Ivan Borodin

Ivan Borodin has taught accent reduction and dialects at Los Angeles City College since 1996 and at the Beverly Hills Adult School from 1997-2008, where he also taught acting. He has worked with hundreds of actors on a wide range of projects, from Melrose Place to The Shield.  He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from New York University.  While the main focus of his work as a teacher has been accent reduction, he also specializes in the following dialects: British, New York, Southern, French, German, Russian, Cockney, Irish, Scottish, Arabic, Japanese and Australian.  Recently, he served as the dialect coach on the upcoming feature, The Truth About Angels.
